Windows Backup for XP Home - how can I get it ?

  JChristopher1 18:14 22 Jun 2003

I noticed in the August edition of PC Advisor (page 95 - the prevenatative measures article) that although XP Home doesn't have Windows Backup installed by default you should be able to install it from the XP Home installation CD. The problem I have is that I don't have this CD - it wasn't supplied by the manufacturer of my PC (Hi-Grade). Is there some way I'll be able to get hold of Backup another way ??

you can use most cd writer programs and the files and settings transfer wizard to do the same thing.

It may be in the restore disc supplied. Have a look.
