windows 98SE won't boot

windows 98SE won't boot - the following message comes up - cannot find system.ini you need to run windows set up again to find the file press any key to continue - the pc then shuts down. my floppy drive doesn't work so I can't use my startup disk. any suggestions as to how i can get the pc up and running again and also how to prevent this from happening in the future?

Can you boot with your Win98CD? Check the boot options in the BIOS.

Thansk, not sure, I'm at work at the moment, my son's rung me to tell me what the error message said. If I can get the cd in I should be ok, if not what do I do once in BIOS?

Check the order of boot up - tell it CDROM first, then HDD.
