This may sound like a really dumb question, but can a windows 3.11 startup disk be made and if so, how do I make one. Making them in win 95 98 etc is easy but we cannot figure out how to create one on win 3.11.

Try this it may work right click the floppy drive and choose format then if another box pops up choose copy system files box

PS if it does it will only get you to a DOS prompt, A:\

There is no such thing as Win3.11 boot disk because Win3.11 is not an operating system, it is only a win front end for DOS. What you can create is dos bootup disk.

If all other things failed, you can find any boot disk from click here
