My Toshiba Laptop is frozen on the "attempting repairs" screen. After researching on the internet, people have said that either the issue will be fixed, or it will fail and advanced start up options, or something like that will pop-up. The only problem is, i have not seen anything happen. The "attempting repairs" screen is the only thing i can see, and even after leaving it 12h plus, it still had the screen. Please help!

Press and hold the on/off button to power off. Wait a few seconds and switch the laptop on again. Repeat if it doesn't boot or completes the repair. Try a couple more times. If it still fails, switch off, remove battery and mains power source. Press and hold the on/off button for 30 seconds. Connect the power brick only and switch on (without battery) see if it completes repair or boots up.
