Window 98 shutdown.

Some months ago, there was a PC quick shutdown program in PCAdvisor which I used at the time.

Using the Desktop shortcut route, I typed out the program as follows

c:\windows\rundll32.exe user.exe, exit windows and it has worked fine.

I have tried this again after re-formatting my HD but it does not work anymore. Also, after entering the file name there is no 'save' facility.

Any ideas, anyone.

Thanks.

I have a little program that does that and more it works on your principle of rundll32.exe if you want me to send it, it's only 36kb it can be programmed to do other thing's also I can send it to you also to try Vog if you are interested. When you click on the .exe it does not run but opens a box instructing how to setup. It's just a case of creating shortcuts from the .exe file and configuring the shortcut

Thanks for your reply. If you could let me have your program this would be much appreciated. My e-mail is [email protected].
