This is a repeat request.

Please can anyone clarify if it is possible (and if yes, how) to access DOS in Win XP Home? I want to load an old DOS Supercalc programme, but suspect this is impossible. Thanks.

There is a DOS emulation mode (see Command Prompt in the program list - in Accessories). I've run DOS programs under the emulation quite happily.

Thanks. I have found it. There is a DOS window that only covers half the screen when fully enlarged. Is there any way this can be made full screen size please?

Hold down Alt and press the Enter key. Do the same to get back to a window.

Also - Right click on the title bar - choose properties, and play with the font and font sizes. This will keep it as a window, but change the size of the window

Also - right click on the title bar - choose properties and play with the layout - you can alter the number of columns and rows of characters, as well as other parameters.
