Win 98 - DOS time

After recently doing a complete hard-drive re-format and W98 re-install, the DOS time setting is still US-style, eg mm-dd-yy.

I've dealt with Regional Settings under W98 - that's OK, but there are times when I use DOS, eg for Norton Commander file-handling, and I'd rather like to getr back to dd-mm-yy.

It's not like my old vriend PC-DOS 5.0. Any suggestions please?

Thanks,

Pinelea.

Did you try COUNTRY=044

Or maybe COUNTRY=044,,C:\COMMAND\COUNTRY.SYS

It's Country=044,850,C:\sys\country.sys

Oops - this should be the last line in your config.sys file

In Regional Settings\Time it should look like this

hh:mm:ss tt
