Win 32 Funlove Virus

My AVG free edition has identified Win 32 Funlove Virus infecting C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\ A0085113CPY and says it cannot heal and the entire infected object must be removed. How do I remove now, and what is _RESTORE anyway?
Any help would be appreciated,Thanks

dont heal just delete.

you need to disable system restore first though.

control panel/system/system restore and untick it.

run a scan with avg and delete the virus if found.

re enable system restore again.

Mammak--Thanks for the info.

huggyg71after suspending System Restore, and scanning with AVG, it reports no virus infection but is the scan still scanning _RESTORE ? or bypassing. I am a little confused here.

if no virus found then you are fine.a copy was just in the restore folder.

avg will still scan the system volume information, restore folder even though you disabled system restore but there will be no data in that folder though.

avg scans all folders on your drive.this is normal.

just re enable system restore again.
