Win 2000 Help

Does anybody know if it is possible to install windows 2000 from cd rom only?
the fdd on the pc i need to reinstall it is broken.
Any advice would be a huge help.

Yes the win2k CD should be bootable.

Set CD as first boot device in the BIOS.

Fruitbat. the win2000 cd i have asks for floppy disks to be inserted. am just wondering whether it will just be easier to install linux and have done with it lol.

Boolian, the pc i need to install windows on is not mine, otherwise it would have mandriva on lol

Put HDD in another PC,
format as Fat32 and copy the files from a win98 start disk to make bootable
copy the i386 folder to the hard drive
replace in old machine and boot at the prompt change to i386 folder and run setup
