WI - FI Frequency?

I am really interested in getting broadband, and would like to share it with a wi-fi connection around the house. Does any one know what frequency wi-fi operates at? I have a video sender already set up to share free-view, rte, videos and dvds around the house - I am worried about interference between the two. The sender transmitts at 2.4ghz (with four different channels therin).

Video Senders, cordless dect phones, yeah... they will interfere.

do you know if it will just slow down the data flow across the wi-fi network, or is it likely to block the signals completely, i.e is it worth bothering to try?

Personally, I don't think you will have any problems. Modern systems are normally designed to co-exist with each other.

Don't have the Microwave on...mine tends to play hacov with the Wifi.

I have video senders, cordless phones, you name it, I have it. The only thing that won't work anymore is my brain. I don't think you'll have any problems.
