I have just reinstalled Win98 and when I boot up a screen appears which I can get rid of by hitting Esc.

It is only a small irritation, but can anyone tell me how to stop it happening?!

thanks in advance!

Have you tried hitting enter without putting in a password?

Network Neighborhood and right click on it then in Primary Network Login select Windows Login, that will cure it.

Control Panel - Passwords. Click 'Change Windows password. Enter the password that you used when you installed 98 in the Old Password box and leave the other 2 blank. OK and OK.
