I'm beginning to go down the slippery road to retirement and my eyesight isn't as it used to be. So black carcasses and black keyboards have been the norm for quite a while.
My first TIME PC had everything in white. Easy to locate USB port, power port and any other port.
Today I need an a small LED torch to find the 'hidden' port I want.
What's wrong with white for heaven's sake?

Many Laptops come in all sorts of Colours. There's one on QVC this morning in a choice of 5 Colours (including Black)
Maybe this would have solved the problem, it's pre iMac and my photography is not good, but, I enjoyed building it.

Try a Mac, white, but then you will need a mirror on a stick to find the USB ports. :)
My old C500 laptop is 'silver', including the base. I can easily see the ports, even the headphones jack socket. The red and green laptops I have have black bases. Grrr.
Can't afford a Mac Jollyjohn but don't fancy having to use a dentists mirror lol.
