In the last half an hour I have received an email from two different sources saying that Bill Gates is giving some of his money away in partnership with Intel and if you forward the emai.....actually here, read for yourself!:

Hi guys

It was for the sum of $4,324.44 and was stamped "Paid in full" Like i said before, I know the law, and this is for real. Intel and AOL are now discussing a merger which would make them the largest Internet company and in an effort make sure that AOL remains the most widely used program, Intel and AOL are running an e-mail beta test.
When you forward this e-mail to friends, Intel can and will track it(if you are a Microsoft Windows user)for a two week time period.

TRy it; What have you got to lose????

Why must people clutter me inbox with this, the annoying thing is, there was a chain of address it had been sent to and poeple were saying "God, i hope this is true" Idiots.

Sorry, rant over.

The reason these chain e-mails/scams/frauds keep on appearing is because some people are just so unbelievably gullible. Do you remember the JBMR.exe (something like that) teddy bear icon "virus" e-mail scam? If anyone does - well my mother in law received the scam e-mail and actually came round to my house when I was at work and deleted the “offending” file from my PC!!

What can I say

I could end up richer than Mr Gates!!

Bring it on - life of leisure here I come.

It's been in circulation for at least two years, maybe longer.

I traced back to 2002!

I think it's genetic, caused by the human animals tendency to protect other (weaker/dumber) members of the same tribe/group/society etc from evolutionary effects.

The ones sending the mail are not dumb. If it did not work, they would not do it.
