Which PSU for the GTX 260

I have just purcahsed the GeForce GTX 260 and a new PSU to power it. the PSU i chose was - JEANTECH 700W ATX PSU.

I have a feeling this doesnt have the two 6 pins needed for the card. is this the case?

If this is the case, what would you recomend (must not be more than £100, normal size (none of the long ones and at least 650watts)

Many thanks

A good GTX260 should come with 2 molex to 6 pins adapters which you have to plug two 4 pins molex into each adapter and then into the gtx260.

click here if it's this one t it has 2 dedicated pci 6 pin cables and will run the card, possibly 2. cant say anything about the make, but power wise it will run without problems, it has a dedicated pci x rail

i use ocz on my dual core system, no problems in 2 years, and click here on my new build, which is awesome during the build i ran the system with it on top of the case and honestly couldnt hear it, it's about £50 over you budget but dont cut corners with power supplies they can take the whole system with them if they fail.

The gtx260 needs a 500W psu to run and you should be ok with this psu as long as you don't add another 260 for sli.

This psu has 2 pci-e 6 pins connectors so you don't need any other adapters.

For nvidia certified psu to run sli please click here
