Which HDD, EIDE or SATA?

Folks,

A pal's lappy needs a replacement, (larger) HDD. It currently has the original, 80GB, which, basically, is so full that Windows isn't playing nicely.

I'm currently not in a position to remove the old one and ascertain what's needed as a replacement, i.e. Eide or SATA, and am struggling to find out online... even the makers site isn't providing the info.

Can anyone advise what type of HDD is in an ASUS A6M please?

It's "about" 5 or 6 years old, so I guess it could be either.

It would be good to have the new drive to hand to prevent delays when I'm inevitably asked to do the changeover!

Going with this it is a Sata.

If it's this model it's a Sata drive.

Sorry that did not work.Hard Drive Interface SATA .

If you copy and past and enter the whole address it should then show.
