which card is best suited to my system?

Hi..I am about to upgrade my AGP graphics card and have my eye on either of the following....
Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ AGP 512Mb Golden S Graphics Card OR.....
PNY GeForce 7600 GS / 512MB DDR2.
My pc is AMD sempron 3000 64 bit with two gb of Ram and a 400w power supply. and the current card is geforce fx5500.
I am not sure if it has any spare power connectors to drive the card.
Would these cards be suitable for my PC as I don't want to spend a great deal on an AGP card which will be obsolete next time I upgrade to a better motherboard etc.?
thanks for any help.....

Forgot to mention...The motherboard is an Elitegroup 755-A2 and only has one AGP slot (8x for 1.5 AGP cards) and 5 x pci slots. No PCI express slots.

Sorry to tell you its obsolete now!
Not only have we moved from AGP to PCIe but the graphics chips have went from the 7xxx series to the 8xxx, 9xxx and are now on another new one the GTX2xx series.

Your biggest worry would be "I am not sure if it has any spare power connectors to drive the card"
I think a 400w PSU would suffice for either of those cards you mention as per click here
