I've got an Olympus camedia 2 meg camera and was looking to buy the Epson 830u printer for repro quality and cheap cartridges is there any other in the price bracket (up to £100)

If you can manage to get hold of one, then the Canon i850 is selling for £99.00. Right up until last week this printer was priced at £160.00 the Reduction is because of a new model. Excellent printer at the original price, but at it's sale price, it's a must have. j.

The epson 830 is a good quality printer and does print borderless prints. Just outside your budget at £129 is the epson 915 which does borderless prints and also accepts camera cards so you can print directly off the card. see it at click here

Third,I use the 830 and can't fault it.I do prints from my 2meg canon no problem.Whatever you use try Qimage pro from click here
It is a top photo image prog but also takes control of the printing away from the printer 'dump'to give you much clearer pics.I could get good 8*10's from my old C20 using it!Read the info and try the 30 day free trial. You'll never use anything else for your pics afterwards.

and now send them over the net to click here I know it is not quite what you were asking, ( they are good printers {:-) )but at 15p for a 6 x 4 or 20p for a 7 x 5 the quality is first class and I doubt you could print your own at that price.

Cheers Lixdexik.

You can get the 830 for £69.32 from DABS click here and I would agree it's print quality is excellent if a bit noisy.
