Whats the Cheapest place to find a Radeon X800PRO?

  AnthonyB 16:45 01 Oct 2004

On some forums, competitor links aren't allowed, and I was wondering what is the lowest, (or at least reasonable) amount to pay for a Radeon X800Pro. figures in the £300+ range seem common, and what about brands and names etc, is one X800pro not much different than the other one? Abit, Asus, connect, Gecube etc

Thanks for the Links,:) I know were these places are, its just finding them at the right time IE: when they do low prices for certain products at a certain times of month (say). £277 sounds not too bad.

I got my Radeon 9800 Pro running on my Hewlett packard W/200 Watt PSU (worked flawless - was a Connect 3D 9800 pro 128 meg) Am I to assume a X800 pro will also work on my 200 watt PSU? - because it is that of a Micro type, and an ATX won't fit in my case. click here and you will find the Power consumtion required for each card. Notice the difference between the Radeon 9800 pro, and X800 Pro - barely a watt between them.

more interestingly, check out the 9800XT's power consumption - quite a difference;)
