I want a new laptop. I been told Intel i series are the ones to get but may be a little out of my budget. What other processors are good? I do a lot of encoding and burning (not gaming) so need at least a dual core and 4gb of memory. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

I think you may need to state your "budget" to get any suggestions.

when I apply mac filtering it works for my wireless connections but despite being listed in the "include list" my wired network is "filtered out" unable to connect.
Router is a D-Link DSL-G624M

Any Ideas?

Dual Atom CPU Review and five going on sale on now on sale click here
I have a Atom Samsung nc10 with up to 10 hour run time if you only use it lite. As I have it setup it runs about 6 to 7 hour without connecting to mains, this is the single chip Atom
