I have been trying to access a site, when I go to click on 'join now' or 'open account' the following appears in the status bar at the bottom of the screen: Javascript:spawn('joinNow','origin','php_OA_CB1');?????? When on some sites I am unable to use the links I have to manually type in the address?? Can anyone help me with this please

Cheers
Emma

This may help explain Javascript:spawn.

It doesn't solve anything but gives an insight, it's not a virus.

Not really as I have never encountered the problem, the problem appears to be with the websites for using javascript:spawn. The only way around that is not to visit those websites, as far as I can see, could try deleting cookies and temp internet files and see if that helps.
