my firewall keeeps reporting this file attempting to access the net anyone know what it is?

NAV shows n/t on virus check
spybot n/t other than double click cookies

I have google toolbar & deskbar but cannot find any goocle ref to this.

any ideas anyone

definately a worm of sorts/virus (thank heaven for firewalls) does the firewall not give you info on what it is? what os have you?

Do you have one with the initials GG? Some sort of programe is checking for updates.

I have XP PRO the only g program I have is google as mentioned above.

Have you done a virus scan? It may be one that randomly choses new names.

and run virus scan with system restore disabled as they can be placed in there first.

its been like this for 3 days, NAV does not pick it up

the only recent program installed was the "freebie" microsoft onenote 2003

Do a search for it on your pc and see where it is located - it may have further info with it.

Where is the file ? which folder ?

And check if it is listed in MSConfig under the startup tab.
