what do i type to format the c drive in dos
im about to format the c drive and ive forgot what to type to format it its something like c:\ format u any ideas?
format c: /u
If you want an unconditional format
format c: /q
If you want a quick format - which just clears the disk without rewriting anything.
To format the C drive, you will need to run this from a floppy disk.
After Start With Floppy Disc it is FORMAT C:
format c:...not forgetting the space between format and c:
