What do I need for wireless network

I currently have a PC(98SE) connected to BT broadband via a BT Voyager 100 USB modem, and a laptop(XP) & X-box connected to the PC via a hub. All works OK, but the PC has to be on for the laptop or X-box to use the broadband.
What I want to do is connect the PC & laptop wirelessly & for all 3 things to be able to connect to the broadband without the others having to be on.
Does anyone know if this set up would work, a new ADSL modem & a Belkin Wireless DSL/Cable Gateway Router ( I already have Belkin wireless cards for the PC & laptop).
Or would just the Belkin ADSL modem with built-in Wireless Router work (according to their website this is coming soon & price dependent).
Any suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated. Does anyone know whether these things are X-box compatible as well.
