These sites you point me to look ideal. Any advice on the size of har drive I will need. Also the best software for capturing and convertiong in one. I know I can ask these questions in the forums advised but I thought if anyone here has any advice please feel free to give your 2 pence worth.
Thats really cheap for the drives. thanks. I have a Matrox G400 TV capture card I have had for ages but I thought it didn't work. I have just managed to get it going again and can now capture. I will check out the ones you mentioin above. Thanks
I'm managing to capture film from VCR now but I want to be able to send it to freinds in SA and AUS. The trouble is its really big size a few seconds is a few MB so how can I make it into smaller size. Also when I try to play it back in Win Media the size of the pic is real small
The problem with video is, its not easy at first but it get easier, and very time consuming. But interrrrresting. What you get from your VHS is an avi file, once this is saved on your HD you need to encode this into an mpeg file. There are lots of program to do this. Best of luck
