Website sound problems

  griffo 19:32 16 Jan 2007

when going to certain websites (ie; with music clips etc.), I can't get any sound. I only use the built-in speakers in my iiyama Prolite E483S, from the onboard sound but it works fine with music CD's. Also, I get the 'usual windows sounds'.

Any ideas why the website sound doesn't work please?

Hi, in IE go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced then scroll down to Multimedia and make sure that Play Sounds in Webpages is ticked.

PS - while you are there you might want to check out all the boxes, there may well be something else you might want/or not as the case may be. Don't forget to click on Apply/OK.

thanks for the response. Checked that and the boxes are ticked already. Any other ideas please?
