Web 'Screen Shot'

  Hels 21:57 05 Aug 2003

I would like to be able to take a 'screen shot' (a copy of a web page) to use in an email to show a friend some information..... I used to know how to do this but I can't for the life of me remember!
Can someone refresh my memory for me, please!

Use the Print Screen button which copies the screen to the clipboard. Then open Word or your e-mail, right click the page and click paste.

Click the "Print-screen" key on key-board, this will save it to Clipboard, then open paint program and right click mouse, choose "Paste" or from paint toolbar, edit/paste. j.

Another option if your friend has access to the internet, would be to copy the url and paste it into your email as a hyperlink which would take your friend directly to the same page.

Thanks everyone.....I used the Print Screen button on my keyboard, that's how I did it before! I can paste into a Word document and send it as an attachment. Tried to paste into an email message but it didn't want to know so will manage with the Word doc....

Thanks once again....
