Web Printing Difficulties

I am having a problem printing web pages. This is a recent (last 5 days) problem, and I have updated my antivirus software.

When I attempt to print a webpage directly off screen I keep getting the following message:

"Internet Explorer Script Error

! An Error has occurred in the script on this page

Line: 93
Char: 1
Error: Access is denied
Code: 0
URL: res//C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdocclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

YES NO"

I use Windows XP and Explorer 6.
Is this viral, or a system failure on my computer?

Mick

It's just XP's way of letting you know there is an error on the page, not the fault of your PC, just click no, and carry on browsing, or printing. Regards. j.

Thank you Djohn!

But this is a real problem (which I have now happilly resolved!)

I referred to earlier answers to queries on this problem and got the solution. The MS Support website carries a fix for this problem. One of these is to search for an application called Surfairy.exe (which I did not have!), and the other is to disable (uncheck) the "Enable Third Party Extensions" in IE/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced. The answers were already there, had I taken the time to look"

Thanks to all!

Mick
