web pages

I have had a long running problem with my internet which nobody yet can answer. On my office computers some internet pages I can get and some not, yet when I go next dorr I can get any page I want. I have cheked all security settings etc and all are set same as next door, yet I still cannot read some pages. Anyone have any clue whats happening

how are they networked and what is the internet feed to them (ADSL, Cable etc,.) and do you have a router/firewall in place ?

I am on win 2000 running adsl and zone alarm. Internet explorer 6.
have tried zone alaorm off, but no difference

Are the pages just 'hanging'? You could try emptying your Temp Internet Files folder via Tools/ Internet options/, delete cookies and delete files.

Another thing to try is Settings/ Control Panel/ Add/Remove Progs/ ie, and (can't repair in w2k)removing. This will revert to previous version.
