I,ve just installed a new hard drive in my computer....installed Windows XP Pro.I can get on the internet ok but the problem I have is every web page has a totally white background ,the text is but doesn,t look as it should. Even typing this the text sizes are bigger than normal.I,m not a novice user, but it might sound it when a simple solution to this problem is found by one of you guys( or girls)....thanks anyway

Right click on an empty area of the Desktop and click on Properties>Appearance tab.

You can change font sizes and other configuration such as Windows Classic or XP style; if you don't have a picture on your screen you can change the colours and background from the Desktop tab.

If you are using Firefox or Thunderbird you can increase or reduce font sizes in web pages with Ctrl + or Ctrl - .

the problem appears to be just web pages....desktop and screen saver is fine with everything as it should be....
