Wav music

I want to use some wav music for a project, and there are plenty of sites after a quick Google search. None seem to give me what I need, most go directly to MIDI music. OK what is the difference in the two? and What does Wav and MIDI stand for anyway. Any decent sites with a good choice of wav music? And can I save my own stuff as wav. I have tried obviously, but with no success.

I use Total Recorder click here but it costs about £7. I am sure there will be some free alternatives arround.

Download JetAudio free from click here

It will record from the internet and via your "line in" on the sound card. You can save the recordings as a .wav file.

Once again I have found a post that I have not closed. So Thanks to PJ123,and AndySD. I used the one from PJ123 in the end, and we did correspond via email to sort it out.
