Want to convert an excel screen image to a picture

  VNAM75 22:16 15 Aug 2008

I did a print screen of a spreadsheet and pasted it on to a word file. Then I tried to copy and paste it into netobjects fusion but the image doesn't appear.

So I need to insert a picture image into it instead. Does anyone know how I can use the captured excel image and turn it into a jpeg/gif file?

Instead of Print Screen, use a screen caprure program - I use MWSnap. You can cout out the exact section you require, and save as a jpeg directly from it.

I use it constantly for such purposes.

In you word file right click the image and select copy. Open a photo programme (I used Serif PhotoPlus) and select paste as new image. Then export to the required format.

Select your range in Excel. Hold down the Shift key and click Edit. Release the Shift key and select Copy Picture. Follow the prompts.

Open your destination program and press CTRL + V.

Just tried GroupFC's suggestion, works perfectly and simple too.
