Does anyone know of a free program which will allow you to create your own wallpapers/images? I am looking to create some funky wallpapers with a personal touch!

Any help would be much appreciated!

there are plenty of free graphics programs out there (wallpaper is just an image of a certain size)

i reccommend the GIMP though it may be a little complicated for a beginner.

You must have a graphics package of some sort, even if it's only 'Paint'. Save whatever you design as either a .bmp or a .jpeg, into a known folder and use the browse facility to retrieve it.

I'm forever changing my wallpaper, and if I can do it, I'm sure you can.

When you've created your masterpieces, you can get them to change automatically with this freeware. I use 98SE - better read the FAQ for others.
