W32 virus,Blaster virus and probs getting on net

Recently had w32 and blaster viruses.removed them with downloads but now cannot get on internet.
System in general is also running slowly,and CPU performance is between 70-100%.
Please Help!

basically you havent got rid of it, what os are you using? if XP or ME did you disable system restore while cleansing ? if not they come back as a copy gets place in system restore and is a hidden folder which does not get scanned.

Using XP.
it actually worked ok,albeit slowly,for a few days after erasing virus,bu then stoppped working on internet altogether.

did you disable system restore when cleansing? what av do you have and updated how often? do you have spybot/adaware installed and updated? what about trying system restore to a previous ok time?

You need to do a couple of things. as this is the norm with XP and the net.

firstly are you getting an RPC error each time you go on the net.

1) Please keep information in the forum. We'd all like to know whats going on - also the information has been posted here ad infinitum anyway so we can point to an old posting. Even on 56k the files take no time to download.

Use Stinger click here to clean the PC.

Both can be downloading in under minute on a mates PC.

Get Anti Virus if you don't already. click here is free Use it and update it.
