Could someone point me in the direction of a word processor program that allows a mic to be used instead of typing? As i have arthritis it would make make computing a lot less painful, is there one avaliable? Many thanks in advance.

Well, Dragon Naturally Speaking comes to mind at first. Try click here

or this one click here

You normally have to spend a few hours teaching the programme to recognise your voice and you still may have to use the keyboard occasionally to correct the odd few words.

I can highly recommend Dragon Naturally Speaking preferred 7. You need a good headset and will have to train the beast to get best results. It is quite expensive to buy, but if you do purchase it, once installed go to their Web Site and update. It is currently at 7.2 (no extra cost). The improvements are such that it will not take that long to be extremely accurate. Best of luck if you go for it.
