hi i have just got a new version of the bt home hub (bt home hub 2.0 or the black one). I have managed to connect all th eother pcs in the house via wireless and even the PS3 but my laptop is having none of it. I am thinking it is because i am running vista and all of the fancy new setting like ipV6 etc is to do with the problem i dont know how to fix it. Would somebody please help me its doing my head in! thanks, rob

Are you sure that wireless is enabled on your laptop? Some have a mechanical switch and on some it is enabled via the keyboard. Depends on which laptop you have.

Try inputting these settings manually for TCP/IP properties.

IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway

Use DNS Server

The IP address cam be any in the range to 237 providing not assigned to another device. Open the hub settings by typing click here into your browser and go to Advanced-Devices to see what IP addresses have already been used.
