Whay when i installed windows vista it is installing Program Files (x86) and Program Files=\? and if it can be changed plz tell me how..
x86 I believe are the program files for 32 bit systems. Files =\? are I believe environmental variables. I dont know what they do but they are windows files. aine
Yeah x86 are 32 bit files.
so whay do i need them ?if i have my computer is X64?
but i need to knwo whay is it like thatbecuase my computer is 64 Bitand not 32 Bitso whay is it making this folder?
I think that when you where installing Vista you did not select 64 bits? When I upgraded from XP to Vista I had to choose either. Did you have this option? Aine
I believe this is for the programs that are made for 32bit and programs for 64bit.Though guessing,if a program is 32bit this will run in 64bit but a 64bit program needs to run in 64bit.Is there a particular reason why you choose 64bit ?
