Vista crashing when switching between users

  Andanotherthing 19:12 25 Aug 2007

Anyone else had Vista (Home Premium) falling over when switching between users? Three in the family have accounts or profiles on the same PC - sometimes it takes for ages to switch - other times it is fine - other times it crashes. Windows tries to find an online solution each time it crashes but comes up with no answer. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

I am having the exact same problem. I even crash when trying to do a shutdown. Specifications are a bit different, HP Pavilion, Quad with 4GB memory with similar components. Spent 2 hours on the phone with HP technical support but no solution.
