VIRUSES - Various

Can a mouse hold a virus as my optical mouse via USB was working fine then i got a nasty virus and i have swappedmy mouse to another PC (kids can have the wheeled thing!!) It does not work and is fully installed etc. The virus (I think) stopped (one by one) my printer, my mouse, my speakers then my HDD. The hDD will now not format either!! Motherboard is sound allegedly (according to PC Tech).

Merry Xmas by the sound of it. Can U take the H/drive out and drop it into another Pc? Just to C if it will format that way. Do U know what the VIRUS was/is??

There is no writable memory inside a mouse, therefore, no.

it's not possible for a mouse to be infected by or carry a virus.
