AVG has picked up these 2 viruses. It will not however delete them. A2 (A squared) does not find them, neither does spybot or adaware. The path is as follows
c:\Documents and Settings\owner.your1P37D9K1HS.000\local settings\temp\alchem.cab\alchem.exe

substitute alchem.cab\alcem.exe for polmx

this path does not exist from 'my computer' and the search facility in 'my computer' does not seem to work properly (dog appears but no text boxes or options to search files/folder etc

Can anyone please help?

The file folder may be hidden try tools/folder options, and select show hidden folders and files, then search again for the path to the exe file.

Have deleted files from PC. If you hear nothing else assume all is well!
