Virus 143150kou.Dll

I have discovered this virus on one of my PCs when using AVG. The name of the virus is Trojan Horse PSW.OnlineGames3.PGV , but every time I get rid of it, it replicates itself, with the same filename.

The file is located in c:/documents and settings/ username>/local settings/temp/143150kou.Dll, though I can't see the file when I look for it in windows explorer.

Any ideas as to it's threat and how to get rid of it.

Switch off system restore
run AVg and get rid of the virus
switch restore back on

rerun AVG to check its gone for good

looks like Malwarebytes free version will remove it.

I am still in the middle of an AVG scan after switching off system restore. After 75 minutes scanning, the virus has not reappeared, and all is looking well. I will, however download Malwarebytes to see if it finds anything else. I seem to recall downloading it for my own PC, but never got round to using it.

I dread to think what rubbish my daughter will download accidentally to her laptop, now that she is at university, and I can't keep an eye on her.
