Virgin Media Security

Included with my monthly Virgin statement (phone, TV and broadband) was a leaflet extolling the virtues of their free Virgin Media Security package. I qualify for the Total version.

Currently I use the free versions of ZoneAlarm, Avast and Spyware Terminator.

Do I need more? Is the Virgin programme a good one?

Stay with what you have forget the Virgin Security.

Unless Virgin security has vastly improved stay with what you have.
I have been with Virgin about 6 years now and have been using PCA for about the same time as I had to come on here to get some information on how to remove the Virgin Security as I had nothing but bother with it.

As a Virgin user you don't need it & you will sleep better without it.

Well, that's very positive advice and I'll certainly take it.

Many thanks

I tried the Virgin media security as my current one was about to expire, and I have had no problems with it, it even found a trogan buried deep in a Cab file that I had dowmloaded sometime ago.

I have run 'backup' checks with Malwarebytes and A2free and both say the ssytem is clean.

This is now Version 9.

Perhaps they have cured the bugs in this version.
