Virgin Broadband

Since Freeserve have upped the price of their anytime dialup access to nearly £15 a month I have decided to get broadband.

I cannot get ntl because there are no ntl cables at the bottom half of my road, only goes down to half of my road.

So ive been looking at other broadband providers and Virgin seems to be the cheapest. I can get 512k access for £24.99 a month, and I don't have to sign up for a minimum period. Does anybody have virgin broadband that can recommend it for me or not?

I just wanna know what the overall service is like.

Cheers
