I want to view my PC screen onto my television screen, just to enable me to watch DVD's or video clips. What is the best way of doing this. I have a Soundblaster 16 Soundcard which is already connected to my stereo so sound isn't the issue. Anyone help please?

Your graphics card needs to be capaple of "TV-OUT".

"capaple"..... should read....... capable.

as MAJ says the graphics card needs to support this.i have a radeon card with a s video out socket on it.look on the back of the card.most recent cards have this.you may need to buy a special lead as it probally wont be standard 4 pin.for some strange reason graphics cards have about 7 or so(still call it s video though) my card came with this lead which plugs into a scart.check your options in display settings also and see if dual screen is supported.i find it works great for dvds but text is blurry due to tvs low resolution.
