Video & sp3 problem

Before I added SP3 to my windows XP system, I could record video files (using pinnacle software) into MPeg2 format with no problem, however now the picture and sound are out of sync.
If I record in Mpeg1 or DVD mode, there is no problem, so I presume I need an updated mpeg2 file- currentlt 1.0.0.1.
Have you had this problem, if so how can I solve it? or where can I find an updated MPEG2 file.

Thanks for reading this
Terry

Thanks for the link, unfortunatly this is for a USB upgrade only and mine is PCI (old, but still servicable), I have been on to Pinnacle live help, and after explaining the problem, a very helpful lady searched through the pinnacle system and found that my PCI board is no longer supported.
It looks as if I will have to upgrade to a USB video system or downgrade tp SP2 again.
Thanks for your help.
