video pause

  mosfet 21:35 18 Jul 2003

Just tried to watch a video from a thread (click here). For the first time, the video keeps pausing while the buffering catches up,or so it seems.Do i need a video card? Be grateful for help again.

Thanks Les

Is there an option to download the video before watching it? Try the options on right click.

what is the "click here" and what are you using to watch it?

in media player set the buffer to around 30 secs or so(even on broadband this will help)

Thanks for the help both, using Media Player9,changed to 30 secs, was better only cut once but a longer wait for buffering to catch up,if that's what it's doing? (I'm very green at this)
I was watching a video on "Building your own PC".I didn't really wish to download them all.It shows how confident I'm getting with this forum to help, watching that sort of thing.Never thought I would even think about it.
