Video Editing Software

I run Vista Home Premium and I wish to purchase some Editing Software to transfer film footage from my Handycam & edit it and transfer to a DVD disk. I am not impressed with built in "Movie Maker" I have narrowed my selection to:- DVD Movie Factory 6 Plus, Movie Edit Pro 14 plus, Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate & PowerDirector 7 Delux. I am looking for something reasonable uncomplicated but on the other hand with a good lot of Editing tools. Can someone please point me in the right direction

Kind reagards

If movie edit pro is Magix It should suit also has its own user forum which is very good.Personally prefer adobe premiere elements whichever youchoose try before youbuy they all domuch the same but some more user friendly and supported than others
