Video drivers won't work - Error 31

  rallinex 16:05 14 Nov 2014

So I've been trying to fix this for the past few hours with little luck. I downloaded all my up-to-date drivers & yet my computer will not recognize them. Under device manager, it says "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

My computer is an Acer Aspire 7750G-9823 with an Intel Core 2670QM and an AMD Raden HD 6650M card

I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the most up-to-date drivers with no success. I don't believe I need to buy any new hardware because my computer was working just fine until I went and tried to update the drivers, so I must have done something wrong along the way.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Are you download drivers for the correct op system i.e. windows 7 64bit?

wrong drivers i.e. 32bit will not install.

Try rolling back the driver first. Do you have the AMD Catalyst Control Center installed. It will automatically find the correct drivers for your GPU amongst other things.
