Using old modems to receive hotspot

  Richard 10 13:38 09 Feb 2018

Hi I have no internet connection at home only the hotspot from my Samsung galaxy s7. I have a humax 1000s Freesat box which has a rj45 socket on back to connect to a modern for iPlayer etc. I have 2 old routers - a Netgear wireless-g router WGR614 v9 and a virgin media super hub. Could I use either of these to pick up my mobile hotspot and relay via Ethernet cable to the humax. Don't know if this is called a bridge or client. Thanks in advance Rich
