Using Norton in a small network

Can I use 1 copy of Norton Internet Security to protect my PC and a laptop which accesses the internet via the PC?

With virtually all licenses except for MS Office, it's one license, one PC. If you were thinking that one installation might be able to protect two PCs, that cannot work either.

Yes, you can, if your pc's are connected via a cross over cable and you share the internet connection, then both PC's are protected. Also you can install internet security on both or all your home PC's using the same licence number, although is not strictly speaking legal, also Sage act will alow you to instal on two home usage machines.

"...not strictly speaking legal"

Then you can't do it.
