Use of voice modem as a phone

I have tried to use my voicemodem and Supervoice
software as a replacement for my telephone without success. I can dial and hear the callee talking but they cant hear me. Is it possible to
do at all and if so how?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

You need a microphone plugged directly into the modem, I beleive - look on the back of it to see if you have such an input socket.

You may also have to go to the Speaker Icon in System tray double click then go to options\properties\recording and make sure that the microphone as a tick in the box

.. I found you had to use a booster mike [i.e. with batteries-'lapell type']

[But then my modem/software did not do the complete job.. a long story ,and many old threads ago . search 'dialler.exe']
